What Should Be Noted During The Installation Of Solar Power Generation Systems

May 30, 2025

Maintenance of solar power generation system:
The solar cell power generation system has no moving parts, is not easily damaged, and its maintenance is also very simple. However, regular maintenance is also necessary, otherwise it may affect normal use and even shorten the service life. Generally speaking, the inclination angle of the solar panel array should exceed 30 degrees, so dust can be washed away by rainwater and cleaned on its own. In areas with strong sandstorms, dust should be regularly removed to keep the surface of the array clean and avoid affecting power generation. When cleaning, dust can be wiped off, and if conditions permit, water can be used to clean, and then a clean cloth can be used to wipe dry. Do not rinse or wipe with corrosive solvents or hard objects. Regularly check the tightness of all installed components. In case of hail, gale, rainstorm and other abnormal weather, protective measures shall be taken in time. Regularly check the charging and discharging status of the battery, and observe whether there is corrosion or poor contact in the electrodes or wiring at any time. In some simple systems, the power consumption should be controlled based on the energy storage situation to prevent damage to the battery due to overdischarging. If any abnormal situation is found, it should be checked and repaired immediately.

* Installation precautions
1. It is best to use a compass to determine the orientation during installation, and it should be noted that there should be no tall buildings or trees blocking the sunlight in front of the formation throughout the day;
2. Carefully check whether the foundation screws and array brackets are sturdy and reliable, and all screws, terminals, etc. should be tightened without any looseness;
3. Fire prevention measures should be taken for the installation of the phalanx on the roof. A lightning rod should be installed on the square array installed at a high place. If necessary, bird repelling devices should also be installed;
4. When installing under sunlight, be careful not to touch both the positive and negative poles of the component at the same time to avoid electric shock. If necessary, opaque materials can be used to cover before wiring or installation;
5. When installing components, handle them gently and avoid collisions or impacts to prevent damage;
6. Pay attention not to reverse the polarity of components such as batteries, controllers, inverters, etc;
7. The battery room should be kept ventilated, dry, and clean. In winter, batteries should be kept warm;
