Metal filter mesh standard
Jul 11, 2024
The standards for metal filter screens mainly include regulations on material, size, filtration area, operating temperature, and humidity. Metal filter screens usually use aluminum foil mesh or stainless steel mesh as filter materials, which have good ventilation and dust holding capacity and are suitable for various industrial applications. Stainless steel filter screens, especially 304, 304L, 316, 316L stainless steel punched mesh, stainless steel woven mesh, stainless steel welded mesh, etc., are widely used in the petroleum industry, chemical fiber industry, electroplating industry and other fields due to their acid, alkali and high temperature resistance characteristics. The size and filtration area of the metal filter screen are also important standard parameters. For example, G3 and G4 grade metal filter screens have different sizes and filtration areas, which are suitable for special acid, alkali or high temperature ventilation filtration such as central air conditioning range hood and primary filtration. In addition, the design features of the metal filter include being composed of different specifications of corrugated aluminum mesh, which are staggered and placed in the inner frame to reduce the gaps between the aluminum mesh and achieve better filtering effect. For acidic, alkaline, or high-temperature environments, stainless steel frames and stainless steel corrugated mesh can be used for production. The maximum temperature for the use of metal filters can reach 400 ℃, and the maximum humidity can reach 100%, meeting the application needs of various industries and special environments. In terms of material, stainless steel filter mesh can adopt multi-layer spot welding or multi-layer edge wrapping technology, with shapes including rectangular, circular, ring-shaped, spacing shaped, waist shaped, irregular, etc. The number of layers can be single-layer, double-layer, three-layer, four layer, five layer or multi-layer to meet different filtration needs and process requirements.
