The production process of copper nickel strips for batteries mainly includes composite process and surface treatment process, and the specific process will vary depending on the type of copper nickel strip. The following is the process flow of nickel plated copper strip:

❖ Material preparation

Select high-purity copper strip and roll it to achieve the desired thickness.

❖ Electroplated nickel plating

Using electroplating technology (such as nickel sulfate electroplating solution), a nickel layer is uniformly deposited on the surface of the copper strip.

❖ Post processing

Wash, dry, remove residual plating solution, and then choose annealing treatment.

❖ Cutting

Cut into different widths according to customer requirements (such as 5mm, 8mm, etc.).

❖ Detection

Detect coating thickness, conductivity, corrosion resistance (salt spray test), etc.
