Structure Of Battery Box Door
Jun 15, 2024
The battery box door is commonly connected to the box body in a hinged or push-pull structure. When the material is thin, reinforcement ribs need to be used to increase strength.
(1) Hinged structure
A hinge is a mechanical device that can connect two solids and allow for rotation between them. In daily necessities, hinges are often assembled and used as a separate component. But the doors of toy battery boxes are basically injection molded from plastic, and the hinges are also made of plastic. Therefore, when designing, the characteristics of plastic processing should be fully utilized to integrate the door or box with the hinge. The application of one-time molding method reduces costs.
(2) Plug-in card structure
Figure 1 shows a card insertion type box door structure, where the flange on the battery box door panel can be inserted into the slot on the box body, and the other side can be inserted into the buckle of the battery box body through a U-shaped card. The connection structure between this type of box door and the box body is relatively easy to insert, but the box door is prone to falling off or losing. When designing and using it, it is necessary to consider ensuring sufficient clamping force between the U-shaped card and the buckle.
