Different Types Of LiFePO4 Batteries

LiFePO 4(Lithium Iron Phosphate) battery is a lithium-ion battery known for its high safety, long cycle life, and stability. According to different applications and designs, LiFePO4 batteries can be classified into different types.

1. Cylindrical battery

Similar to traditional models such as 18650 and 26650, the structure is sturdy and easy to group, commonly used in electric tools, energy storage systems, etc.

2. Soft pack battery (Pouch)

Flexible packaging is lightweight and flexible in design, but has low mechanical strength and requires additional protection. It is commonly used in consumer electronics and lightweight power batteries.

3. Prismatic square battery

Adopting aluminum shell packaging, it has high space utilization and is suitable for large capacity needs, such as electric vehicles and energy storage power stations.
