What Material Is Better For Battery Connectors
Jun 03, 2024
There are many materials that can be used for battery connectors, including copper nickel strips, pure nickel strips, and nickel plated steel strips.
The cost-effectiveness of nickel plated steel strip is relatively high, which can meet the basic requirements of the product. If there is a higher requirement for corrosion resistance, the thickness of the nickel layer can also be increased to solve the problem. The key is that the product price is basically a fraction of copper nickel strip and nickel strip.
Secondly, it should be considered as pure nickel strip. Most of the batteries in mobile phones use pure nickel strip, but it is also expensive, and other products besides mobile phone batteries have low cost-effectiveness. Moreover, in the on-site mobile phone battery market, nickel plated steel strips are gradually being used instead of pure nickel strip.
In terms of performance alone, copper nickel strips are relatively good, with stronger corrosion resistance and the ability to withstand higher currents. However, they are rarely used in the market because they are too expensive and most products do not require such high performance. Performance is more wasteful than waste.
