Q: How long does it take from drawings to samples? How is the cost calculated?
A: The time depends on the complexity of the design and the process. For projects with complete 3D drawings, the first sample usually takes 10-15 working days. The cost mainly includes: sample production cost (materials+labor+machine hours) and possible special tooling and fixture costs. If it involves brand new molds, we will provide separate mold solutions and quotations. The sample fee is usually deductible in subsequent mass production orders.
Q: What materials do you commonly use? How to ensure the strength and sealing of the box?
A: We prefer high-quality galvanized steel plates (SGCC/SEC) and aluminum alloys (5052/6061), balancing strength, corrosion resistance, and cost. Ensuring performance relies on two points:
Design side: We use CAE simulation analysis to optimize the structure and strengthen the design at the folded edges and welds.
Process end: Using robots for continuous welding to ensure uniform and firm weld seams; The sealing surface adopts a one-time compression molding sealing groove, matched with customized sealing strips, and passes 100% full inspection airtightness testing (such as negative/positive pressure testing) to ensure IP67 or higher rating.
